Verizon commercial design for The Mill
Design
I was working remotely for The Mill NYC for awhile, usually taking pencil sketches or concepts we received from an ad agency and creating beauty frames to get sign off on how the director would film or digitally produce the commercial.
On this particular spot, I made at least 10 different versions of how those "chiclet" photo items could appear. As with most of my visualization projects, I used photography composited with 3D objects I made in C4D, copious use of the photoshop soft airbrush and ubiquitous light flares -- all with complete disregard for how it would eventually be produced. What fun!
This direction was chosen, but sadly I never did see the final spot, which aired in South America.
